As for the dolls, it's not really that strange to find them creepy. I think I'm a bit more strange for finding it comforting. (Un-realistic dolls creep me out, to tell the truth. They seem kind of dead.)

Well, when I said the top of the food chain, I meant in a society where normal humans typically are. I don't believe that an animal who eats/kills a human that is in their territory should be killed. It's nature at work.
